Infrared is the light wave (i.e., electromagnetic radiation) whose wavelength is longer than the light and color that is visible to the human eye. However, digital camera sensors are capable of detecting near infrared light. These infrared photos were taken with a Canon EOS 400D (Rebel XTi) that has been modified by LifePixel to take only infrared photos. Contrast was then adjusted and false color (red-blue channel swapping) was achieved using Photoshop. Click on thumbnails to enter gallery.
